About me.
Walter Joyce III is a free lance audio engineer, performer, and composer. In addition to that, he is also an experienced performing bassist and live sound technician. Mr. Joyce recently completed his undergraduate internship at Sweetwater Studios, where he learned the day to day basics of Studio maintenance and operations, as well as the various responsibilities of being an audio engineer in todays ever changing music industry. Mr. Joyce has also worked as a live sound technician at Wisteria Campgrounds during the summer solstice event where he was tasked with the responsibility of mixing, setting up and tearing down the stage, and helping out the performing musicians in every way possible. Currently, Mr. Joyce is a performing bassist at New Birth Christian Ministries, where he helps to lead worship every 2nd and 4th Sunday for the Main and Teen services. Mr. Joyce has received his Associates Degree from Hocking College in Audio Production, has completed The Core and Advanced audio production programs at the World Renowned Recording Workshop , and very recently earned his Bachelors in Music Technology from Capital University. Throughout Mr. Joyce's short time as an active bassist, he has worked with a wide range of musicians and genres from Hip-Hop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, and more. One of his most recent projects, The Coffee House Rebels, is an homage to the classic rock era of the 1960s, while his past group, WoJettt Music, was described in the Athens News as, "a dynamic, versatile band that merges Rock and Hip-hop to create a distinct and balanced sound." His current group, The A.M. Soul Society, is an eclectic blend of Neo Soul, R&B, and Funk all wrapped up in a retro 1980s pop style. Through hard work, diligence and above all, keeping an open mind and a positive attitude, Mr. Joyce always strives for greatness and diversity through his music.
